For Those That Love The Corporate Lifestyle: An Illinois Office Mansion
There is currently a house listed on Zillow in St. Charles that is beautiful and amazing but it looks like the corporate headquarters of a cryptocurrency.
The asking price for this palace in the western burbs is just shy of $3,000,000. Here's a blurb from the description on the Zillow listing.
Own your own piece of tranquility and seclusion in this spectacular 45-acre estate in St Charles. The scenic 1/2 mile driveway takes you to the stunning gated entry. Enormous circle driveway accented by a center fountain. Vast gardens and foliage developed by Japanese landscape artist Hoichi Kuisu.
Sounds nice right? Let's take a look.
This is the entrance you drive up to after traversing the HALF MILE long driveway. You can tell me that this is a private residence, but that 100% looks exactly like an office park. I expect to see parking spaces with the names of CEOs on the other side of that circular drive.
If you're going to have a half mile long driveway, you're gonna want to have a gate at the end of it to keep people from accidently driving up to your front door.
The outdoor features of this property are simply stunning. From the pool to the waterfall to the trees surrounding the property, it us undoubtedly a natural beauty.
This just adds to the office complex feel. This is absolutely a foyer. There should be a receptionists desk right there. Imagine having to walk through that every time you came home.
The half mile long driveway in all its splendor.
This is the atrium of an office building and you can't tell me otherwise. Also notice the track lighting. Do you think there's enough lights?
Again with the concert grade lighting system. It just seems like a bit of an overkill.
Gorgeous kitchen. No notes.
Do you need a space that looks like an empty car dealership showroom? This place has it.
What is this room? Is that a bed? A couch? A massage table? It also comes with a kitchen. A strange room.
What $3 million house would be complete without a steam room?
What is this? An office? Another very strange room. Maybe is something that only very rich people know about.
A second kitchen because why not?
This hallway is very cool but matches none of the ambiance of the rest of the house. I love that window. At least I think it's a window.
I'm pretty sure this is the master bedroom with a ridiculous pedestal bed. This room also comes with a lot of track lighting. I initially thought this was a concert space but the fireplace made me reconsider.
How often with this audacious bathtub get used? Once a year? Maybe? I cannot imagine that being my primary bathroom. It's just way too big.
The outdoor space more than makes up for anything weird going on inside the house.
