Farmers' Almanac putting their weather-predicting device to work for what the United States should expect on Christmas day.

It sounds as though cold temps will be a commonality everywhere except 'North Central' which includes Colorado, (North & South) Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, and Wyoming.

This doesn't mean it won't be cold but the predictions didn't include the words brutally or frigidly, so there's that.
