Tips For Buying Sweet Corn

Believe it or not, there are tips for buying the best-tasting sweet corn. Maybe you're like me and not completely certain about what to look for when making the purchase. It's definitely easier pointing out "bad" corn. There's no mistaking nasty produce. Luckily, I found an easy explanation for picking the perfect cob, according to Taste Of Home.

You want the corn husk to be bright green, wrapped tightly against the corn and slightly damp. Don’t choose any husks that are starting to yellow or feel dry. You’ll want to check the husk for small brown holes, which mean insects and should be avoided.
