Today we shine a spotlight on Quartermaster Seaman Alicia Beumea, a Rockford native who serves aboard USS Oak Hill.

Below, you can see Beumea on the left, tracking the ship's course. According to a press release, Oak Hill is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations:
