Rockford is a total game-changer when it comes to thrifting in Illinois. These are some spots that are my personal go-to's for a fun little shopping spree!

Thrifting is slowly becoming a hobby of mine. Especially since moving here, I have found SO many new spots that are my absolute favorites. Whether I'm looking for more comfy oversized sweatshirts, cute accessories for outfits, or even just more cute tops that aren't casual, these spots never let me down!

3 of the Most Underrated Thrifting Spots in Rockford, Illinois

Plato's Closet - 588 S Perryville Road, Rockford, IL 61108

I know this is a popular store, but the one on Perryville has become a staple for me to check out. Compared to other ones I've been to, this one has been a really solid spot for me to get some amazing jeans and cute tops! The service here has also been so great, which only adds to why I'm a fan.

Smiley's Vintage - 120 N Madison Street, Rockford, IL 61107

I love me a shirt with some graphics on it. An oversized graphic t-shirt or sweatshirt is honestly a closet staple of mine. If you're kind of the same way, this spot is for you! The person who was working actually helped me pick out outfits for Lollapalooza, which was one of the nicest customer service experiences I've ever had. Such a fun place with nice people too!

Treasures Galore - 3260 South Alpine Road, Rockford, IL 61109

I was in a pinch to put together an outfit for a Halloween party I was going to when a coworker recommended this place. I needed accessories and this place saved me! They had an entire wall of earrings and purses to choose from, and I was so overwhelmed I had to go back another time to look at oversized sweatshirts because they've become part of my personality at this point haha!
