Unpopular opinion, I love shopping at CherryVale Mall in Rockford, Illinois. There, I said it. But I'll agree with the collective, I think some stores need to be brought into the space to make it a little more fun. These are just a few that I would personally LOVE to see make their way there.

I'm a total book nerd, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I could spend an entire day chilling in Barnes & Noble and ordering some Starbucks. However, I can confess to being a bit of a shopping addict. At CherryVale though, these are some stores I grew up loving and that I am secretly hoping make their way here.

5 Stores That Need to Come to CherryVale Mall in Rockford

Yankee Candle

I have some words I'd like to get out. CherryVale, you used to have this but now you don't. Why? Who made this decision? I went to the mall the other day to specifically go to this store and saw it completely closed. I stopped dead in my tracks and had to compose my emotions. This is one of my favorite stores on the planet because I love candles and fragrances so much. Please, for the love of all that's good in the world, bring it back!

Dillards

This store is so special to me and holds a lot of nostalgia. I refuse to get bedsheets anywhere else! Also, their purse and shoe selection is always insane. Plus, if you're a member there you always get crazy deals on name-brand items. I would be on cloud nine if this store ever came to the area.

Ragstock

I love stores that have personality, and this one does. You can get flannels and sweatshirts for like $15 here. I don't even want to think about how much money I spent here in college haha. This spot is full of grunge, fun and quirky clothing that just makes closets more fun. This is one of the few spots I can actually find t-shirts that fit me right!

Tommy Hilfiger

I'm a total Tommy girl. Every time I go to Chicago Premium Outlets, I have to make a stop at this store. I want them to come to Rockford SO bad you have absolutely no idea. I could spend all day in this store putting together outfits.

Aside from being a Tommy lover, I also am a loungewear fanatic. 99.99% of the time, you'll be catching me in comfort clothes like oversized sweatshirts and leggings. This spot, though pricey, has some of my absolute favorite casual tops that are cute enough to dress up! The past few times I've been to Chicago, I've scored at this store! The mall already has its sister store American Eagle, so bring it to the mall too! Please and thank you!

What are some stores you'd love to see come to the Stateline? Malls hold a special place in my heart just because of the experiences and memories they can make. It's a little sad watching them struggle, check out this one in Danville, Illinois!
