Rockford Is About To Sell Out Of The Hottest Christmas Gift
Every year there's a new toy that is in demand on a whole new level. Over the past few Christmas seasons it's been Nintendo that has been releasing the "must have" product with the Nintendo Switch. This year it's all about Pokemon and Nintendo, and if you're looking for get this as a gift you'd better get one now. Seriously.
The item: The Pikachu edition of Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! w/ Poke Ball for Nintendo Switch.
I have no knowledge of the details of this game aside from it being Pokemon. For some kids I'm sure, they don't just want the game, they HAVE to get the package deal or bust. I have coworkers that have literally dropped what they're doing because a store in Rockford had the item available. If you're hoping to buy Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! w/ Poke Ball and have it shipped to you, do not look at big box stores because it's not happening.
That's because Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop (just to name a few) aren't shipping Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! w/ Poke Ball anymore.
As of this morning, a Walmart in Rockford only had two for in-store purchasing only. The Target in Machesney Park had a few and nothing else with 250 miles of Rockford. If GameStop is your place you'll need to drive to Freeport. Bottom line, you probably will not be able to get this package anywhere near Rockford by the end of the week.
You might be in luck with Amazon but the online giant has sold out once already and they've re-stocked. The thing is if Amazon sells out again will they be able to keep restocking?
UPDATE 12-6: Amazon is sold out again.
You can click here to get it from Amazon, and hope you'll get it before Christmas. However, if you're considering buying the game and peripheral ball separately it'll cost you at least $134. The package deal is already selling for over $120 on eBay. It's the package deal though... it's that stupid peripheral that makes the whole thing. You could always get the 'Evee' version everywhere but that would be lame and likely lead to a disappointed child on Christmas morning.
I've done all I can to help you find Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! w/ Poke Ball without spending crazy amounts of money. Good luck trying to find the Pikachu one anywhere after this week.
