Roscoe Family Wakes Up To Surprise In Yard Following Storm
Monday night's storm blew around garbage cans, took out tree branches and sent one huge object through the air, landing in a Roscoe family's yard. But where did it come from?
The kids of the Thor family have been wanting something big in the back yard for quite some time, but they ever expected it to arrive this morning, especially under these circumstances.
How it got there remains a mystery. One thing is for sure, the wind delivered it.
I know it wasn't from any of the houses near us, on our side of the street. We have the wood line behind us so our yards are pretty small.
That's what Jessica Thor told me after making the discovery this morning. Her family woke up to a large trampoline sitting in their yard.
Being a family friend I know how much their kids wanted a trampoline and it looks like their prayers have been answered.
Luckily, as far as we know, the only damage happened to the trampoline itself. And if you know anyone that owns a trampoline near the Chickory Ridge neighborhood in Roscoe, tell them to see if it's still there. If it's not, I know where you can find it.
