Riley & Scot Honored By Illinois House [PHOTOS]

Riley & I had a pretty special moment on the show this morning thanks to State Rep. John Cabello.

Cabello contacted me earlier in this week to say he had procured a certificate of recognition from the Illinois House for Riley in appreciation of his 30+ years on the air. He wanted to surprise him on the air, so we plotted a strategy to do just that on Friday morning.

Little did I know he also had a surprise for me.

Yes, he had also requested a certificate for me as well. It's certainly humbling to receive an honor like this. Here you can read the text:
