A number of service organizations across the state of Illinois apparently will have funding restored following a total of $26 million in cuts that were announced earlier this month.

Monique Garcia of the Chicago Tribune reports that the reduction in grants would have impacted services ranging from autism treatment to burial services for the poor. However, a new revenue forecast estimates the state is expected to bring in more money this year than initially anticipated.
