JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) — Janesville police say a woman stabbed her husband and herself during an argument, and then shot and killed herself after he left the house.

A Janesville Gazette report says police identified the woman Wednesday as 31-year-old Hollie Rowan. The injured husband was Carl Rowan, a 32-year-old Wisconsin State Patrol trooper.

Authorities say officers were sent to their Janesville home Wednesday about 3 a.m. on a report of a husband and wife who'd been stabbed.

Police say they found the husband outside the home and his wife dead inside.
