Phantom Regiment Hall of Fame Concert

Rockford has been blessed with the Phantom Regiment for 60 years.

If you haven't seen the national award winning marching band Saturday night is the night to do it. The annual Show of Shows will be performing at Boylan High School Saturday night beginning at 7 P.M.

They have the largest line up of marching bands in quite awhile. Nine drum corps from California to South Carolina will be represented. Then after the show a performance of the Phantom Regiment Alumni Corps made up of over 220 alumni will do a number.

I grew up next to where Phantom practiced during the summer and it was incredible how much work these young people put into the shows. It always made the football camp that came the next month look like a cake walk. They are truly talented and we are lucky to have them in town.
