We here at WROK are huge fans of the PAWS Humane Society and new it's time to help them out.

The PAWS Humane Society was founded in 1988 as a spay/neuter assistance operation. Today they have 3 main goals:

  • Provide low cost spay/neuter to reduce pet overpopulation and its resulting cruelty
  • Assist in finding homes for adoptable animals
  • Provide humane education materials and programs to the community

You can hear about their featured animal every Saturday morning at 8:30AM when they drop in to talk to Greg Saunders.

If you'd like to help PAWS out AND have a great night you have to come to their 9th annual Fur Ball (get it?)

The Fur Ball is Saturday February 4th at eh Radisson Hotel and Conference Center. Your ticket will include an evening of live entertainment by Minimal, delectable food, and a silent auction.

It's a great time and helps out a great cause. You can get more info and order tickets here.
