Pancakes For A Purpose

The 19th Annual Winnebage-Boone Farm Foundation Breakfast will be held on Saturday June 11 at Aves Dairy Farm in Belvidere.

The breakfast which consists of all-you-can-eat pancakes, whole hog sausage, applesauce, ice cream (for breakfast!!), milk and coffee will be served from 6:30 a.m. till 11 a.m.

Worried you consumed too many calories by eating 15 pancakes? No worries just top it off with some of the free cheese samples. Bring the kids for horse drawn wagon rides, games, a petting zoo, cow pie bingo (make sure you eat first), tractor displays and more. The kids will sleep well that night.

The cost for adults is $6, $3 for kids 6-10. All proceeds of the Breakfast and Cow Pie Bingo go to the Winnebago-Boone County Farm Foundation. The foundation was established for the purpose to providing scholarships and increasing agriculture awareness through educational means, such as the Winnebago-Boone Agriculture in the Classroom program and Summer Ag Institute.
