One of America’s Best Cities for Keeping New Year’s Resolutions is in Wisconsin
On New Year's Eve, you said to the world (or anyone who would listen) your resolutions for the year.
At this point, New Year's resolutions are kind of a joke. No one really keeps them but as WalletHub discovered it isn't always the person who announces the resolution's fault.
There are other factors at play, namely, where the person actually lives.
When you think about it if you have the resolution to lose weight in 2022 only to realize there are no gyms and very few healthy dining out options keeping that promise to yourself could be more of a challenge than you think.
So WalletHub doled out a list of the American cities that best keep New Year's resolutions and the findings make a lot of sense.
Taking a close look at Health, Financial, School & Work, Bad Habit, and Relationship Resolutions, WalletHub came up with a score on how well each big city in America does in regards to keeping them.
At the top of the list is Scottsdale, Arizona. They rank in the top 10 in Health, Financial, and #1 overall for School and Work Resolutions. Meaning, if you want to make a promise to change your life fiscally, your own well being or just through education, you should probably move to Scottsdale.
A little closer to home though you could always just move up to Madison, Wisconsin.
That's because Madison ranked 16th overall, came in the top 10 for both Financial and Bad Habit Resolutions.
It also ranked 32nd in Relationship Resolutions which also makes sense considering Madison has been long talked about as a perfect city for single people.
Madison was the second highest-rated city for keeping New Year's Resolutions in the United States.
Overland Park, Kansas was rated 7th overall by WalletHub.
What about you? Have you made any New Year's Resolutions for 2022? How do you plan to keep them?
