Normandy, Then and Now

At this writing, we're 2 days away from the 70th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, June 6, 1944.

My son Spencer, knowing what a WWII history buff his dad is, sent me a link to an outstanding photo piece in the International Business Times. The piece, written by reporter David Sim, shows the reader what the Normandy region looked like on that fateful and historic day, as well as what the area looks like now. It's beautifully done, and well worth a look.
