Noah’s Ark Water Park Closing For 2020 Due To COVID-19
The water park closed until further notice on August 1st after two employees tested positive for COVID-19. Now, the plug's been pulled for the rest of the year.
The summer of cancellations is continuing along at full speed, in spite of huge efforts to keep entertainment venues open and safe for the public.
On the day that Wisconsin's governor, Tony Evers, instituted a mask mandate for his state, two employees of Noah's Ark Water Park tested positive for COVID-19. And with that, the management of Noah's Ark knew they had to make the tough call.
If you or your family had made advanced plans to visit Noah's Ark Water Park, all 2020 single-day tickets can be used next summer, and 2020 Season Passes will be extended to include the 2021 Season. Additionally, all 2020 Season Passholders will receive a free 2021 Buddy Ticket.
I know that the Wisconsin Dells bills itself as the "Water Park Capital of the World," but I didn't know until I checked this morning that the Dells features 20 water parks, with 200 slides, and 16 million gallons of water.
If you're still set on a visit to one, grab your masks (swim and personal-protective) and see if any of the 19 other water parks have offered up some deals.
Or, you can do it like we do at my house. Drag out the sprinkler, and tell them to have at it.
