One of the advantages of having a super-famous guest co-host this week is using his connections to land big guests.

State Senator Tim Bivins has been filling in for Riley the past two days. In a former life, Bivins was Lee County Sheriff. When he arrived in Springfield he became chief sponsor and cheerleader for "Erin's Law," which calls for age-appropriate curriculum on sexual abuse for prekindergarten through fifth grade. Its purpose is to prevent children from falling prey to sexual abuse or remaining silent if they do.

That so happens to be a cause near and dear to the heart of Michael Reagan, son of former President (and one-time Dixon resident) Ronald Reagan. Bivins was able to work the phones and had Reagan call into the show this morning.

We talked about a new poll showing his dad as the most popular President since WWII and his work to protect children. Reagan also answered a few questions about President Obama's current foreign policy and how it differs with what his father might have done:
