A handful of Stateline area UPS delivery men have been honored by the company for their outstanding safety records.

Four drivers have been inducted into UPS’s prestigious "Circle of Honor" for recording 25 years of accident-free driving. According to a press release, they are among 82 others from Illinois and more than 1,400 from around the country to be newly inducted. The honored employees are:

  • John Stumpf of Loves Park
  • Timothy Branney and Gregg Hennis of Rockford
  • David Daniels of Roscoe

According to UPS:

Globally, 7,878 active UPS drivers are members of the Circle of Honor. Collectively they’ve racked up more than 221,000 years and more than 5.3 billion safe miles during their careers. That’s enough miles to travel to Mars and back 36 times.

The company says the most seasoned UPS Circle of Honor driver is Thomas Camp of Livonia, Mich., with 52 years of driving without an accident. How's that stack up to your driving record?
