The other day I saw one of my Facebook friends talking about getting Moo'ed in a Rockford parking lot, and at first I thought it said "mooned".

After re-reading the post and breathing a sigh of relief that mooning people in parking lots is not a new trend Rockford, I have to know...what the heck is getting moo'ed all about?

Moo Moo Subaru

In case you don't know what the Duck, Duck, Jeep movement is all about, it's basically leaving a rubber duck on a fellow Jeep owner's car to let them know you appreciate their rig. It's a simple, fun way for Jeep owners to show comradery, and apparently Subaru owners are getting in on the fun too...with a new twist.

Since I'm not cool enough to own a Jeep or a Subaru, I wont be receiving any fun trinkets on my van anytime soon, but there is a Facebook group called Moo Moo Subaru that is dedicated to spreading the mooovement, AND it currently has over 62,000 members, including many from Illinois.

A Word Of Warning Before MOOing People

If you own a Subaru are are hopping on Amazon now to buy a bunch of cow trinkets, please be aware that not all "Subies" are cow appreciators...

One member of Moo Moo Subaru group recently commented;

Today I finally got to Moo someone parked right next to me(so they could see my dash buddies and see it’s no threat). Much to my dismay I walked out to it on the ground next to my car. Who knew subamoo rejection could sting so much.

While it may be disappointing to see your kind gesture thrown to the ground like trash, just remember, it's society's fault. We're constantly being told to beware of items being left on cars, so you can't really blame people for being cautious. Blame society, not the Subie.
