Capannari Ice Cream in Mount Prospect: A Chicago Favorite

The first is Capannari Ice Cream, located in Mount Prospect. Chicago Magazine has called it "The Best Ice Cream in Chicago" for a reason. It features "super-premium flavors" like Black Raspberry Chip and Madagascar Vanilla and is made in the most old-fashioned way, "blending just four gallons of ice cream at a time."

Since opening the doors in June 2001, Capannari Ice Cream has catapulted their gourmet ice cream shop to one of Illinois’ most respected small businesses...One bite of their small-batch, Kosher-certified French pot ice cream and you'll know why Capannari's ice cream is considered one of the best in America.

The Original Rainbow Cone: An Illinois Ice Cream Legend

Even better, if you can't make it to the parlor, you can get it shipped to your doorstep.
