Now, don't get me wrong, Beetlejuice is a great movie that I have watched many times since I was nine, but I still get the creeps every time I watch it.

Is it because I'm afraid of zombies and undead with shrunken heads? No.

Is it because the Beetlejuice character is ugly? No.

Is it because I don't like the possibility of ghosts haunting my house? Slightly.

Mostly I get creeped out because the whole look and feel of the movie is eerie, which is exactly the point and what makes the movie so appealing!
