Illinois Drive-In To Host Dusk To Dawn Horror Movie Festival
If you want to get the full experience of a legendary horror movie, you have to see it on the big screen. To make it even scarier, watch it at an outdoor theater. If you're easily scared, it will freak you out. It will almost feel like the scene out of a horror movie.

According to The Midway Drive-In...
The Midway Drive-In opened in 1950 in Sterling, Illinois and has been in continuous operation ever since. The Midway Drive-In is a genuine historical landmark as it is home to the oldest standing Drive-In screen in Illinois.
The Midway Drive-In down in Sterling is a really cool place. When you pull up to the gate, it's like you're going through a time machine. For me, the retro outdoor theater gives me a nostalgic feeling of when I was a kid, and my parents took me to the local drive-in for movies. Take your family this summer. You'll have a great time.

The Midway Drive-In is kicking off the season with a horror movie marathon. It was such a hit last year, once again, they'll be featuring the work of John Carpenter with Dusk to Dawn Carpenter Fest 2. The date is Saturday, May 16th. The movie schedule is "Escape from New York," "The Fog," "They Live," and one more still to be announced. There will also be horror vendors on hand and more.
