Gutsy Thief In Illinois Takes Robbing Fast Food Drive Thru To Next Level

A robber stole a cash register from the drive-thru window of a McDonald's in the Austin neighborhood Thursday morning, Chicago police said.

Police said the suspect then broke the service window to gain access to the cash register drawer, which he stole and fled the scene.

The incident happened at the McDonald's location on West Roosevelt Road in Chicago. It occurred at 4:05 am. The getaway vehicle was a mini-van. Luckily, no one was hurt. Police are currently looking for the suspect.

It is just another example of a criminal not being afraid to break the law. Who has the guts to go in a drive-thru window to rob a place? Plus, steal the whole entire cash register. That's just too crazy.
