Rockford Called One of the Most Unique Daytrip Destinations in the Entire State
Did you know that you live in what a major online publication just referred to as one of the most unique day trip destinations in the entire state?
Rockford is a great place to visit based on some of the things I have seen and done over the years, but it's always nice to see someone else confirm it, too.
That's because 24/7 Tempo called Rockford a hotspot for a day trip if you live in Illinois.
Here's why, "The Laurent House is a must-see for architecture fans because it's the only private home ever designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for a wheelchair user. If you love plants and flowers, the Anderson Japanese Gardens allow you to get close to thousands of flowers."

24/7 Tempo also discusses the Rockford sock monkey connection, adding, "At the Sock Monkey Museum, you can see some of the oldest of these monkeys in the world."
If you plan a day trip to Rockford, see the Symbol, a sculpture built to "pay homage to Rockford's industrial metal-bending factories," The Nicholas Conservatory, and the Rockmen Guardians at Sinissippi Park.
You should wrap it all by commemorating your day in Rockford by stopping at Rockford Art Deli to pick up some merch before you head home.
