The Ultimate Dining Dilemma: Finding the Perfect Burger and Fry Combo

It’s not very often that you get a burger AND fries that are both on point.

A lot of the time, you have to settle for one or another. There are people who swear up and down about how good a burger is at such-and-such place, but never mention the fries. Then there are the fry aficionados who say a good order of fries will elevate the burger and sometimes be even better.

LoveFood Names Kuma’s Corner the Best Burger-and-Fries in Illinois

That’s why I was glad to see LoveFood tell me about the one place with the best burger-and-fries combo in Illinois.

Having been to Kuma’s Corner, it’s tough to disagree with the appeal of both together.

LoveFood says, “The menu items here are named after heavy metal bands, including Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Iron Maiden. Slayer – a 10oz burger served on a bed of fries with chili, caramelized onions, andouille sausage, cherry peppers, Monterey Jack, and scallions – is a customer favorite. The loaded cheese fries are incredible, too."

The Closest Metal Mecca: Heading to Schaumburg for Loaded Slayer Fries

There are two Kuma’s Corners, one in Chicago and the other in Schaumburg, which obviously makes the Schaumburg location the closest for Rockfordians to try.

Personally, I remember the burgers more than the fries at Kuma’s, but maybe they have the best combo in Illinois.
