Before school is back in session, have one last hoorah at Nicholas Conservatory in Rockford, Illinois.  Glow in the Garden returns this September!

I remember the one year I worked the craft table at Glow in the Garden.  So many families, kids, and couples were decorating their paper lanterns to release in the pond.  It was a fun night!

On Friday, September 20th, 2024, from 6pm - 9pm, bring the entire family to Sinnissippi Park to enjoy a fun night down by the Rock River, Eclipse Lagoon, and grab some drinks at Veedubs while you're there.

Purchase a floating lantern with a faux candle, personalize it to release in the Eclipse Lagoon, and watch your masterpiece float away in style!

Here's the one I decorated the first time I went.  It's not the best, but it floated!  If you're looking for a cool date night this is definitely the place to take your boo.  Fingers crossed it'll be a beautiful night.
