An Illinois Arby's didn't waste a single minute to roast McDonald's over the weekend after it was announced the fan-favorite McRib was making a return to menus across the country one last time.

I was visiting Springfield, Illinois over the weekend when I spotted a sign battle between Arby's and McDonald's.  Honestly, I don't think I have ever witnessed a sign battle outside of the internet, which made it so much funnier!

You know how the Wendy's reps roast every other fast food competitor on Twitter?

Well Arby's did that in real life... and for the entire world to see driving by.

Sure, it is all light-hearted fun from Arby's, but they threw some serious McShade at McDonald's that you just have to see.

"ITS HERE AND ITS NO MCFIB WE HAVE REAL RIBS"

Either Arby's knew they couldn't compete with America's favorite fast food joint or that their meats were going to get absolutely destroyed.

Whatever the case may be, it's pure comedy and hilarious!

Shoutout to the person who approved of this sign, marketing like this one only makes me crave McDonald's even more.  Sorry Arby's, I think the McRib has my vote this time.  Good try, though!

McDonald's didn't even have to respond to the sign.  They're just lovin' all the attention!

Actually, McDonald's is currently celebrating the McRib Farewell Tour.  That means you won't be able to get your hands all up in the sauce much longer.

Once they take the McRib off the menu, that will be the last time you will see it.

Also, McDonald's if you see this: BRING BACK SNACK WRAPS.  All I gotta say.
