Minnesota is gearing up for a massive summer event – the Taste of Minnesota festival, a blend of food and music. Initially launched in St. Paul in 1983, the festival took a hiatus after 2010 but made a successful comeback in 2023. The food festival is set to return this summer and will take place on July 6 and 7th.

This two-day smorgasbord of food and fun celebrates everything we love about Minnesota: great music, fabulous food, outdoor family fun, a few surprises and really great people-watching!

A more extensive setup and a greater variety of vendors and attractions.

Approximately 120,000 people attended the event last year and organizers are anticipating an even larger crowd this year. Plans have been made to expand the festival's footprint to allow even more food vendors. They're aiming for 60 vendors compared to last year's 23.

The Taste of Minnesota festival is not just about food; it features great music as well.

Chef and TV personality Andrew Zimmern is coming back as the Food Ambassador.

Mark your calendars now for this fun event which is scheduled to take place on July 6 and 7 from 11 am. to 8 p.m. each day at Nicollet Mall in downtown Minneapolis.

All 37 Minnesota Restaurants that Have Been Featured on the Food Network

Many Minnesota restaurants have been featured on the Food Network over the years. Some have closed now, but I checked out the Food Networks website, the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives website, and TVFoodMaps.com to find all of the Minnesota restaurants that have been featured on their channel in the past and found these 37 (in no particular order) that are still open.
