Gamestop Suddenly Has Retro Game Stores in Missouri & Illinois

Perhaps it's not game over for Gamestop after all. The company has confirmed that they have a new strategy and that's resulted in retro versions of their gaming stores already open in Missouri and Illinois.

When you do a search, here are retro Gamestop stores already open in Missouri and Illinois.

I think this is a brilliant move on the part of Gamestop. The new Playstation and Xbox systems have gone almost completely digital which makes stores like Gamestop almost obsolete since most are downloading games directly from Sony and Microsoft. This pivot to retro systems which almost all require physical media might just be the move that saves the company.
