One of our favorite charities, Circle of Change Veterans Dog Program, is having their annual event to help out local animal shelters.

They are looking for donations of the following items:

  • Pet food (wet or dry)
  • Pet beds
  • Pet pads
  • Bleach
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Blankets
  • Paper towels
  • Toys
  • Food/water bowls
  • Cat litter
  • Treats
  • Collars and leashes
  • Brushes
  • Nail trimmers

If you have any of these items you'd like to donate they would be greatly appreciated.

The event is Saturday, December 2nd from 10-3 at the Home Depot on Argus Dr. There will be adoptable pets there as well as an appearance from Hammy the Hog of the Rockford IceHogs. There will also be a raffle to benefit the Circle of Change program.

Local shelters that will benefit from the drive include Kibble Korner, Noah's Ark, P.A.W.S, Mending Hearts, Good Sheppard and others.

There's plenty of animals in the area that need your help and this is a great place to start.
