So. Illinois Drug Dealer ‘Tries’ to Run From Cops, Runs Into Another. Brilliant!

When you are watching a tv cop drama, the bad guy tries to run and usually a car gets flipped and there's a bad ass explosion...and Ice-T is staring at the crash seen shaking his head. Well, this wasn't THAT exciting. There wasn't even a glass of Ice-T. WANDTV

Edward Watson was pulled over by cops in Springfield, Illinois and things didn't go well. Knowing damn well he was busted, Edward floored it...but didn't get too far. He crashed into another car.

Why did Edward know he was busted? He was a wanted man, and had a "few" things on his record...

Home invasion

Domestic battery

Criminal damage crimes

Being a bad driver

Post crash and arrest, police got themselves a search warrant to go check out where Edward lives...jackpot. Edward was probably hoping that didn't happen.

Found in Edward's house was:

 A loaded Taurus 9 mm

80 grams of cocaine, individually packaged

Ouch, down for the count...There was other material in his house that added up to drug dealing, and a bunch of gun ammo too.

This episode isn't going to end well, but does have a typical cop show ending...The bad guy is behind bars with a $750,000 bond...He will be sitting still for a while, waiting for Ice-T to show up with a bowl of Honey Nut Cherrios and a great closing catch phrase. Pretty sure that's not happening any time soon.
