In Evanston Illinois, It’s ILLEGAL to Change Clothes in Car Unless the Roof is on Fire
I think I have found the MOST odd law in the state of Illinois, EVER. TheNewsWheel
This one comes to us from Evanston, Illinois. This strange town, finds us with a strange law and apparently even stranger vehicles. I'll start here, do you or ANYONE you know have "curtains" in/on your vehicle? Do you draw the shades on your KIA when you park somewhere?
This law is partially designed for your car that has...curtains. Yes, curtains. Maybe that's a thing in Evanston, or it was. Who knows, but it's an important part of this LEGAL MATTER IN EVANSTON, ILLINOIS:
"In the city of Evanston, Illinois, it is unlawful to change clothes in your vehicle with the curtains drawn. Unless, of course, there is a fire."
Hot damn! Literally, this law is HOT and stupid...
So let's start with the obvious..."with the curtains drawn." This comes with the understanding that your vehicle has curtains. Heaven forbid, do NOT draw the curtains in your car and disrobe. Don't you think of you were GOING TO change clothes in your car, that having some privacy would be the way to go? Anyhoo...
There is a way to get around this rule, a really hot way. "If" your car is on fire, you're safe. If your Mustang has burst into flames, you NOW may take all your clothes off and not worry about a ticket, or getting arrested. Well, thank goodness.
