You may have heard about the flooding in the Freeport area. It's pretty bad. 

If you haven't seen any of the destruction, it's probably worse than you've imagined.

Loves Park resident Jared Mitchell has made some stunning videos of Freeport and the Stephenson county area and shared them on his Facebook page.

The rain is supposedly over and the rivers have crested but the clean-up has just begun. Good luck to all those affected.
