Have You Ever Seen This Strange Traffic Warning Sign Before?

I encountered this sign while driving down Old River Road in Roscoe. But there's something about it I don't quite understand.

What I want to know is, what am I supposed to do differently when I encounter this sign or the cat?

Are they trying to tell me that I shouldn't honk or yell at the cat if it crosses my path? It doesn't say 'blind cat' so I assume when it sees cars, it gets out of the way. Maybe it doesn't. Maybe it's like my cat. My sign would say 'Caution, IDGAF Cat' and you should just drive around it because it cares about nothing more than itself... and food.
