Get Your Basset Hound Fix Here

Long-time listeners of the show know about my basset hound obsession. No, I don't have one and no, I never have. But for a reason I can't remember I became attached to the breed when I was young.

Since then I pushed my parents to get a basset hound. No luck. After I moved out I lived in apartments and condo units that had strict no-dog policies. And now that I own my own home I'm trying to raise a one-year-old son. My wife, correctly, points out that taking care of a new dog and a new kid at the same time might be too much.

So for now I continue my wait and enjoy videos like this one:

There's, what, five bassets in there? And then a bunch more come running. Now that's a home that loves its basset hounds.
