Dogs Aren’t Always Man’s Best Friend

Having a dog and two cats at our home gives my family and I the opportunity to test that old adage that "dogs are man's best friend." I must admit, up until seeing the video below, that I thought the dog had this competition won hands, er, paws down. Both of our cats are sweet, non-violent (biting, scratching, etc) types, but I've always believed that if I were to collapse in the kitchen around feeding time, the dog would lament my passing, but the cats would eat me. Nothing personal, it's just...well, time to eat.

However, after watching this guy's experiment with his dog during a walk, I really don't know who to trust.

The dog's owner fakes a collapse to see how his dog would react, and I can feel his sense of betrayal:
