Do You Dare Stay Overnight in This Historically Haunted Illinois Hotel?
This is the perfect way to embrace spooky season.
I can barely make my way through a haunted house. Don't believe me? Watch this.
Clearly, I couldn't handle staying overnight anywhere that's haunted. Could you? If your answer was yes, you should consider staying overnight at the historic Ruebel Hotel in Grafton, IL.
OIS details -
It is said a little girl named Abigail has been roaming around the hotel since her passing, even playing the occasional trick on a guest. While the hauntings here at the Ruebel Hotel aren't sinister in nature, it is considered one of the most haunted hotels in Illinois.
But that's just where the fun begins.
It's also said that -
In 1912, the original Ruebel Hotel burnt down but was rebuilt with 32 rooms in 1913. Over the years, there have many strange occurrences reported by hotel guests. Guests have noticed strange smells and small objects that have mysteriously disappeared. Disembodied footsteps have also been heard early in the morning.
It's also been noted that when guests look back at their photos from inside of the hotel they see mysterious orbs in the pictures.
There are a few videos on YouTube of people exploring the hotel and looking for any ghost encounter they can find.
Safe to say these videos are filled with a lot more spooky stuff than my Six Flags haunted house walk-through video.
The hotel actually made a top ten list earlier this year.
So if you're up for an overnight stay, you can book your room here.
