Next to salad, soup, and cereal, tacos are the most difficult food to eat while driving.

For example, you're driving through Chicago, hungry for tacos, and know you're going to need to find a place to sit down and eat.

You could do way worse than eating at the place that apparently makes Illinois' Best Tacos.

Lovefood says the tacos worth talking about in Illinois come from Antique Taco. They also labeled the joint as having the Best Tacos in the state.

The must-have eats at Antique Taco are Garlic Shrimp tacos.

Lovefood:

White shrimp is paired with elote-style (Mexican street corn-style) cauliflower, basil, avocado and fried kale in tiny tortillas. Also, if crunchy tacos are your thing, head down on Taco Tuesday which is when they're served here.

People respond positively to Antique Taco on Yelp rating 4 out of 5 based on nearly 1300 user reviews.

Not everyone is enamoured with the food at Antique Taco. Sherry W. on Yelp said the food at Antique Taco was "overly spicy & horribly greasy," but Megan G. had a different opinion mentioning "I loved the garlic shrimp tacos--those tortillas!--and the horchata milkshake was incredible."

They're even more popular on TripAdvisor, with Antique Taco rated four and half out of five and is ranked 29th best "Quick Bites" location in all of Chicago.

There are two Antique Taco locations, and if you're driving from Rockford or the surrounding area for a taco trek, you'll probably want to go to the one at 1360 North Milwaukee.

Antique Taco is closed Monday but open Tuesday through Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
