Summer doesn't only need to be about beaches and water parks.

I mean, probably, right? Eventually, you'll get a sunburn and decide to do something else.

That "something else" sounds like a totally worthy option when you consider there's an iconic landmark nearby that you should probably visit.

It's called Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin East home. It's also considered The Most Iconic Landmark in Wisconsin according to Mashed.

Legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright designed himself a stunning home and studio south of Spring Green, Wisconsin, naming it Taliesin after a sixth-century Welsh poet. The buildings are poetry themselves, and a variety of tours for all ages are offered.

Tours have already begun this season for the Taliesin estate. According to Taliesin Preservation there are one and two hour home tours along with an estate tour.

Taliesin Preservation:

Immerse in Taliesin's unique mix of architecture, nature, food, and farm. View the Driftless Area through the lens of Frank Lloyd Wright's vision.

If you're a photography buff, this seems like a primo spot for picture taking.

Besides photos of the breathtaking Driftless Area on the massive 600-acre property, there are plenty of other things happening at the estate.

There are plenty of walking trails, events, summer camps, a seasonally evolving menu at the cafe, and a gift shop at Taliesin.

It's the perfect set of things to do while recovering from a sunburn.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin East home is located at 5607 County Road C in Spring Green, Wisconsin.
