Cubs Reliever Injured In A Really Weird Way
Baseball players seem to have a knack for getting hurt in odd ways.
The Cubs current closer, Steve Cishek, had to be carted off the field before their series finale against the Rockies Wednesday afternoon.
He was apparently injured while playing catch with fellow reliever Brandon Kinzler. The report on the incident is that Cishek was "crossed up" and took a baseball to the knee.
How does a professional baseball player get hurt playing catch?
The good news is that it doesn't seem to be too serious.
So the next time you hurt yourself in a stupid way remember that at least you're not failing at the basic task that you're paid millions of dollars to do.
