Hallmark Is Filming A Bears Holiday Movie And Needs Extras In Chicago

If you're the kind of person who never misses a Chicago Bears game, and you're a sucker for Hallmark Christmas movies, this may be one of the coolest opportunities you'll see all year.

Hallmark is looking for extras for its upcoming holiday movie, "Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story," and filming is about to get underway in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.

The movie is the latest in Hallmark's successful NFL-themed holiday series, following films centered around the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. This year's edition shines the spotlight on our area and the Chicago Bears. It will premiere during Hallmark Channel's annual "Countdown to Christmas" lineup later this year.

The Casting Company Is Looking For All Sorts Of People To Become Extras

Bears fans, football lovers, families, tailgaters, and people with Bears-themed vehicles or tailgating gear are especially encouraged to apply. They're even searching for a few very specific types, including people with distinctive mustaches, owners of golden retrievers, and anyone who can help create an authentic Chicago game-day atmosphere.

The weird part is that you'll be filming Christmas scenes...in July.

That means extras should be prepared to wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and other cold-weather clothing while temperatures outside may be pushing 90 degrees. It's the magic of movie-making, where Christmas can happen even during the hottest week of summer.

Filming Is Going To Be Starting Up Soon
