Casting Alert! Chicago Based TV Show Searching For Extras
If you've always wanted to be on TV, you might not have a better shot at it than right now.
That's because one of NBC's biggest hit shows needs extras for the next episode of Chicago Med according to Project Casting.
Casting Alert! For our next episode of Chicago Med we are searching for MALE AND FEMALES, 20's to 40's, all ethnicities, to play REPORTERS AND CAMERA PEOPLE on Chicago Med. You must be available all these dates, 11.16, 11.18, 11.19, 11.21, 11.23, two of these dates are covid tests only. Three of the dates are filming.
The best part of the casting is Chicago Med only wants people from Chicago, suburbs, and the surrounding border states to Illinois.
Since you're probably reading this in either Illinois or Wisconsin, you, yes you, could very well end up on TV.
Just based on what I read about the casting call, the producers of the show are very serious about making sure if you're going to be on set, you must be vaccinated.
However, the listing on Project Casting does mention they "will consider reasonable accommodations as required by law" for people who can't get the vaccination.
You made it all this way and you're probably asking "Well, how much will I get paid?" Interestingly, there is no mention of actual pay, but considering I've never seen an NBC show asking for unpaid extras, I'm guessing it's probably $80 to $100 for the entire day.
If hanging out on a TV set, and making a little cash on the side sounds like a day well spent, you can apply to be an extra HERE.
