Bowling For Freedom

Six local bowling centers will be supporting veterans through the "Bowl for Freedom" CampaignBowlers to Veterans Link is a national nonprofit charity is proud to announce the Bowl for Freedom campaign coming to the stateline August 12-14.

During this promotion centers will be offering a special package featuring $.99 games, $.99 shoe rental, $.99 hot dogs, $.99 Pepsi and specials on Leinenkugel beer. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Bowlers to Veterans Link.

All local bowlers, as well as military and veterans groups, are encouraged to take advantage of the "Bowl for Freedom" events with teammates, friends, and family.

The local bowling centers participating in the event are:

• Park Lanes in Loves Park
• Forest Hills Lanes in Loves Park
• The Cherry Bowl in Cherry Valley
• Don Carter Lanes in Rockford
• Viking Lanes in South Beloit
