BELOIT, Wis. (AP) — Beloit police say gunshots were fired in a park over the weekend, leaving one person dead and three people injured.

Police responded to Summit Park on Saturday about 8:40 p.m. They found two males who'd been shot and a third person who had other injuries.

One of the shooting victims died of his injuries, and the other is being treated for life-threatening injuries. The third person was treated and released from a hospital.

About three hours after the shooting, a female arrived at a hospital with a minor gunshot wound. Police believe it happened during the park shooting.

Police ask that anyone with information contact their department.
