BBB’s Dennis Horton On Text, Gift Card, Phone Scams

Scam artists are looking to get at your money and personal information in so many different ways that it's hard to keep track. Luckily, the Better Business Bureau is on the case.

Dennis Horton, Director of the Rockford Regional Office of the Better Business Bureau (BBB), joined the WROK Morning Show on Tuesday to fill us in on some of the latest scams making their way through Northern Illinois.

Some of the latest include fake texts designed to get you to reveal your banking information, gaining access to your phone's SIM card, and something called the "Jenny B. Gift Card Scam."
