Would You Turn Down a Check For $975 Million?

Why did she turn in down? It appears she thinks she's entitled to more:

The sky-high sum was delivered to Arnall’s legal team on Tuesday, but was promptly turned away, according to Hamm’s lawyer, Michael Burrage.

“Ms. Arnall, through her counsel, stated that they were rejecting the . . . payment because Ms. Arnall did not want to risk the dismissal of her appeal by acceptance of the benefits,” Burrage said in a statement on Tuesday.

Fox News reports Arnall was granted $995 million by a divorce court, along with other assets worth tens of millions more, such as a California ranch and an Oklahoma home. She's looking for more.

And just think of how her lawyers feel about all this. 30-percent of $995 million is an awful lot of money.
