One of the World’s Most Breathtaking Riverwalks is in Illinois
You can take a walk anywhere but you can't always take a walk along something that is considered the "most scenic riverwalk" in the world.
This riverwalk is so nice, it's the highest ranked in America.
Far & Wide, purveyors of all things travel put together a big list of the 25 Most Scenic Riverwalks Around the World, Ranked, and lo and behold one of the finest is in Illinois.
Secondarily, another one of the best riverwalks is also in Wisconsin.
So I guess what I'm saying is, if you love gorgeous walks along bodies of water, you could do much worse than living where you do.
That's because, if you're reading this in the 815 that means both can be done over the course of one day if you're feeling super adventurous.
Personally, I used to say I stopped walking around the day I got my driver's license.
While I still would rather drive anywhere as opposed to taking a walk, I have learned a good stroll is something you can't take for granted.
Who knows, maybe I'm getting older or maybe I'm just finding new ways to get a little bit of exercise.
Either way, if you like walking one of the "most scenic" riverwalks in the world is in Chicago.

The Chicago Riverwalk was ranked 2nd best in the world, right behind France's Toulouse Riverwalk.
