If you're hoping to catch 4th of July fireworks on July 3rd, you're in luck, one local community is doing just that.

It's hard to be too upset in 2021. I mean, we all still have annoying things come up here and there but really the best way to clear the crabbiness is to just think back to a year ago when things were way worse.

In May of 2020 we were all recently notified that we had at least a month left of staying at home scanning our streaming services.

But fast forward to today and we're instead scrolling through Facebook notifications of events that ARE happening this year and all of the details that go along with that.

Today, I came across this post from the Winnebago Fourth of July Committee page.

The post notes a ton of changes and possibilities for the upcoming celebration but the fact that there is a celebration is the biggest news of all!

Winnebago will be shooting off their fireworks on Saturday, July 3rd, plus you know there's a huge festival in Loves Park all weekend long too.

Which leads me to the best part of this announcement... we're getting fireworks all over the stateline over the 4th!

Where will you be celebrating?

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
