If it feels like it's been awhile since you've seen snow you're not wrong. It's reached historic proportions.These numbers are for the city of Chicago not necessarily Rockford.  We'll have to check in with Candace King to see if we've reached the same historic stretch here in town.

February 22 marks the 67th straight winter day without at least an inch of snow. The last time you even had to think about where your snow shovel is was December 17. The previous record was during the winter of 1921-22.

Not only are we breaking a lack of snow record but here in Rockford we broke the high temperature record with a high of 71 today.

I'm sure we'll pay for this sometime down the road but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
